New Community, New Jazz:
London’s TRC

In this short documentary the Peoples Story Collective meets artists such as Dan Leavers (known as Danalogue and member of The Comet is Coming) and Alabaster Deplume in their creative home base, the birthplace of the buzzing New London Jazz Scene: Welcome to the Total Refreshment Centre. In extensive interviews and atmospheric images we discover not only the physical space, but the community that makes it an inspiring example of creative and alternative ways of collaboration and care.

Part of the collective is London-based videographer and photographer Soo Hahn, author of the photos used on the top of the landing page of luith.co.
