about me
Born in Germany, I spent all my life in Brussels and later London. Multicultural communities are my home, having led me to learn Spanish and Arabic in addition to the languages I grew up with: German, French and English. I strongly believe in an anti-racist and social justice oriented approach to the current climate crisis. Creativity and activism can go hand in hand. Besides my love for film making I’m write poetry and occasionally journalistic pieces.
career
As the co-founder of the Brussels-based production house Anekdote I support and create projects reframing the narrative around migration and its link to the enviroment. Facilitated by my studies of social anthropology at the LSE, I collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to create innovative, inter-cultural audiovisual projects across Europe and the Middle East. I also work as an independent director, videographer, and freelance producer in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
